SCOTTSDALE, AZ—The Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort has reopened following a $25 million renovation. Formerly Chaparral Suites , the hotel is the brand's sixth property in the metropolitan Phoenix area. It is owned by Snyder Nationwide Real Estate Inc. and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts . Embassy Suites by Hilton is a global brand of all-suite hotels from Hilton Worldwide. Bill Duncan , global head, All Suites Brands , tells GlobeSt.com: “Scottsdale's tourism market has seen tremendous growth, with hotel occupancy increasing by more than 12% in the last five years. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort's conversion and renovation capitalizes on the area's recent growth while enhancing the hotel's offerings to appeal to a greater host of both business and leisure travelers. The project is a testament to Embassy Suites' upscale yet flexible design model which allows owners and developers to maximize their investment with a customizable prototype that can easily adapt to market demands. The property updates will not only deliver on the brand's key pillars, but also deliver top-notch service and amenities that visitors to the area appreciate.” Overlooking Camelback Mountain and within walking distance of Old Town Scottsdale's thriving shopping and nightlife, the refurbished hotel is less than 11 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and near championship golf courses, spa facilities, dining, art galleries and outdoor recreational facilities. Situated on 15 acres at 5001 N. Scottsdale Rd., the sprawling resort features 312 two-room suites and more than 60,000 square feet of meeting space for both indoor and outdoor functions. The hotel has a modern boutique-type atmosphere with a nod to the area's historic significance. For example, there is a lobby painting of Camelback Mountain, the walls are adorned with Scottsdale art and memorabilia, and there is natural landscaping with indigenous plants. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort offers the brand's signature amenities, including its free made-to-order breakfast and two-hour complimentary evening reception with snacks and beverages. Guests may enjoy urban American fare at Azul Clubhouse restaurant or unwind at the Granada Bar and Grill. Those preferring to dine in the comfort of their suites may select room service or pick up snacks and sundries in the hotel's 24-hour convenience store. HHonors members have added convenience with Digital Key. Duncan tells GlobeSt.com: “As part of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort renovation, Hilton HHonors members can enjoy even greater convenience with access to Digital Key. With this service, guests can open any door that would typically require a key including guest rooms, elevators, side doors, fitness centers and parking garages right from their smartphones. Visitors simply open the Hilton HHonors app when they are within a few feet of the door and push the button to unlock. With the app, Hilton HHonors members can check-in, choose their rooms from a digital floor plan, pre-order amenities and go straight to their room upon arrival.” And, upon arrival, the spacious two-room suites include 43-inch flat screen TVs, sleeper sofas, desks and wet bars featuring a selection of coffee and tea. Larger suites include additional amenities such as a conference table or whirlpool, while the presidential suite is ideal for a special occasion. Relaxation abounds at the hotel's tennis court and two outdoor swimming pools, which can be seen through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the adjacent 2,000-square-foot fitness center. There, exercise enthusiasts can take advantage of the Life Fitness equipment and TV monitors at every cardio station. “The hotel's ideal location, distinct features and connection to an iconic brand make it one of the most attractive hospitality options in the region,” said Alan Klein , general manager, Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort. “We are delighted to offer one of Scottsdale's most unique and amenities-rich properties, and to be part of the Hilton Worldwide family.” The hotel's conference facility–one of the area's most expansive–features three large-scale ballrooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 1,400 guests for weddings, receptions or other large functions. Also available are two private dining rooms, three private boardrooms and four outdoor terraces for exclusive receptions and social functions. For smaller group meetings, the hotel offers the meetings simplified package including WiFi, meeting room supplies, all-day non-alcoholic beverage service and the hotel's 24-hour business center. "With its extensive renovation complete, this beautiful resort facility offers an urban oasis for Scottsdale visitors,” said Duncan. "Whether traveling for business or pleasure, guests are sure to enjoy the high-quality service and wide-ranging amenities that define our growing brand.” SCOTTSDALE, AZ—The Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort has reopened following a $25 million renovation.
