Nina Tran SAN FRANCISCO—In a role that is to include expansion of an existing investment portfolio, Nina Tran has been brought in as chief financial officer at Veritas Investments Inc., a privately owned real estate firm with $2 billion in assets. Throughout Tran's 25-year career, she has been integrally involved in real estate financing, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, accounting and reporting, and business process improvements. Currently also serving as a director on the board of publically traded Apartment Investment and Management Company , Tran's role at Veritas Investments includes building finance, accounting and human resources teams. She will work with Veritas' executive leadership in expanding the firm's real estate investment holdings. In her previous role at Prologis Inc. , Tran played an integral role in leading the merger and integration of Prologis and AMB Property Corporation , and oversaw the global finance operations for AMB.
