Companies of all Industries Clamor for Lease Space

AUSTIN, TX—The Terrace recorded four leases recently, two of which were new signings and two were renewals, in activity demonstrative of a healthy market in the southwest quadrant of the city.

AUSTIN, TX—Overlooking the adjacent Barton Creek greenbelt, a master-planned mixed-use park, The Terrace , is located in southwest Austin at the intersection of South Mopac Expressway (Loop 1) and Capital of Texas Highway (Loop 360) at 2600 Fortuna Dr. It is comprised of 619,026 square feet and was built between 1999 and 2002. The hilltop location offers unimpeded views of the scenic downtown Austin skyline and convenient proximity to the central business district, Texas State Capitol complex and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport , as well as the prominent residential areas of Westlake Hills and Rollingwood . All four buildings in the complex have earned the ENERGY STAR certification for energy-efficient operations. David Putman, Ben Tolson and Bart Matheney with AQUILA Commercial recently represented The Terrace landlord in four leases, two of which were new signings and two were renewals. Tolson, principal at AQUILA, tells GlobeSt.com: “Recent leasing demonstrates that The Terrace continues to be a premier option for companies of all industries in southwest Austin.” The Ampersand Agency signed a new lease for 4,356 square feet in building 6 and was represented by Russell Davis of Skyles Bayne . The Ampersand Agency is a full-service boutique creative agency based in Austin, TX. Boulette, Golden & Marin LLP renewed its 4,937 square foot lease in building 7 and was represented by David Dawkins with PCR Brokerage Austin . Boulette, Golden & Marin LLP is an Austin-based employment and litigation law firm. Kirkus Media signed a new lease for 2,042 square feet in building 1 and was represented by Will Crawley with Endeavor Real Estate Group . Kirkus Media provides book reviews and recommendations as well as a full suite of author services. Philadelphia Insurance renewed and relocated its 2,559 square foot lease within building 1 and was represented by Eric Galanti with CBIZ Gibraltar Real Estate Services . Philadelphia Insurance is a commercial property/casualty and professional liability firm based out of Bala Cynwyd, PA.
