Here are some of the recent sales, leasing, and personnel activities reported around the Garden State this month. Sales CHERRY HILL, NJ—Markeim Chalmers handled buyer and seller in the $2.2 million sale of 1503 Chapel Avenue , Cherry Hill, NJ, a 10,465 square-foot bar and banquet facility on 2.5 acres that came with a liquor license. Red Eagle Company sold the property to 1503 Chapel Real Estate . The site is close to the Cherry Hill Mall . Leases SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ—Lumber Liquidators has renewed its lease for 11,000 square feet of industrial/warehouse space at 14 East Wesley Street in South Hackensack, NJ. Located in the Meadowlands submarket, the industrial property is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises of Hackensack, NJ. The transaction was negotiated in-house by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises . Brandon Anapol of Metro Commercial represented the tenant. BUTLER AND SHREWSBURY, NJ— The Goldstein Group has placed Sherwin Williams paint stores in Butler and Shrewsbury, NJ. In Butler, Sherwin Williams leased a 3,540 square-foot space at Butler Plaza on Route 23. In Shrewsbury, Sherwin Williams leased a 3,500 square-foot space at 471 Shrewsbury Avenue . Sherwin Williams will share the site with Advance Auto . Neil Goldstein handled both transactions for Sherwin Williams . JERSEY CITY, NJ— The Cast Iron Collection , an offering of upscale rental homes, resort-inspired amenities and supportive street-level retail space, says more than 80 percent of 232 homes in the neighborhood’s second apartment building, Cast Iron Lofts II, have been leased since its opening earlier this year. MARLTON, NJ—Wolf Commercial Real Estate has named Ryan Barikian a senior associate. Barikian brings eight years of sales and leadership experience in the commercial and residential title insurance industry to WCRE. He will work closely with the WCRE sales team to generate new business relationships with banks, developers, loan servicers, investors and other service professionals in the real estate industry. PARSIPPANY, NJ—Matthew E. Brown of Fort Lee, NJ, has joined Colliers International Group as a senior financial analyst in the global commercial real estate services firm’s Parsippany office. He is a member of the company’s regional investment sales team, which specializes in the acquisition and disposition of properties in New Jersey and the Tri-State area. Brown brings 15 years of industry practice to his new role. He has been involved in more than $3 billion in investment sales and loan sale advisory transactions nationally. Additionally, he was a lead asset manager on close to $1 billion of capitalized public-private partnerships specific to housing military members and their families at Forts Bragg and Riley via partnership with the Department of Defense , and college students via partnerships with institutions of higher education. PARAMUS, NJ—Richard J. Curran III has joined The Goldstein Group as part of the company’s continuing expansion plans of its leasing and sales team. Throughout his long career, Curran specialized as a consultant/appraiser of commercial and residential properties. He now will be specializing in the leasing and sales of retail properties throughout New Jersey. WARREN, NJ— Marge DellaVecchia has joined the architecture and engineering firm, Paulus, Sokolowski and Sartor as Senior Director. DellaVecchia , who will work out of the Cherry Hill office, has worked for Camden County for the past six years, most recently as the deputy director of the Municipal Utilities Authority . Her past experience in the public sector includes positions in state government with the Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency and the Department of Community Affairs and 13 years in various roles in Cherry Hill Township . Prior, she was the construction project coordinator for Bally’s Park Place and Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. Exclusive Agencies KEARNEY, NJ— Hugo Neu selected Cushman & Wakefield as the exclusive leasing agent for Kearny Point Industrial Park , the 130-acre, two million-plus square-foot business campus in Hudson County, NJ. In addition, STUDIOS Architecture , an award-winning international full-service design firm, has been named lead design architect for the next phase of redevelopment of the state of the art sustainable site. From 1917 to 1949 the property operated as the Federal Shipbuilding & Drydock Company . Federal was the Navy’s preferred yard during World War II, employing over 50,000 people and building ships faster than any yard in the world. After the war Federal began recycling those obsolete ships, and over the next 50 years River Terminal developed millions of square feet of industrial warehousing, distribution and office space. Hugo Neu has since worked to restore and repurpose the site as a business neighborhood. The company expects to create and retain at least 5,000 jobs in New Jersey. CHERRY HILL, NJ—Markeim Chalmers has been named exclusive tenant representative for Roy Rogers in Southern New Jersey as part of its on-going expansion. Fred Berlinsky , president, and  Kevin Burns , vice president will lead the Markeim Chalmers efforts to secure new highly visible franchise locations with excellent accessibility and restaurant zoning in a high-activity, fast food oriented areas. EDISON, NJ— Earl Lapides , senior vice president of Bussel Realty Corp. is marketing for lease 18,000 square feet of medical lab/pharmacy space at Edison Industrial Park in Edison, NJ.
