BJ's Wholesale Club, 131 East Kings Highway, Maple Shade, NJ

MAPLE SHADE, NJ—Apex Financial Advisors has acquired a BJ's Wholesale Club located at 131 East Kings Highway in Maple Shade, NJ from SIN Ventures Maple Shade for $15.6 million.

CBRE executive vice president Brad Nathanson represented the seller and obtained the buyer for the 109,841 square-foot free-standing property.

“There was a tremendous demand for the asset given BJ's long tenure at this location coupled with their high volume sales and low rent,” says Nathanson. “The property is well positioned at the signaled corner of Kings Highway and Lenola Road bordering Maple Shade Township and Moorestown, two of the wealthiest towns within southern New Jersey, with little to no wholesale club competition in the immediate area.”

BJ's has been a tenant at this location since 1986, one of the chain's earliest locations, and a top sales performer historically. A 2005 interior remodel included the expansion of the store's liquor operations and added 5,609 square feet for a BJ's Tire Center.
