RESTON, VA–The Chevy Chase Land Co. has acquired South Lakes Village Shopping Center, a 110,000 square foot, Safeway-anchored center here for $62 million. The Land Co. acquired the property through a 1031 tax deferred exchange from the sale of its Richmond office building portfolio earlier this year.
2-Property Seniors Housing Portfolio Sells for $55M
CHEVY CHASE, MD–The local senior housing community Chevy Chase House and the Country House in Yorktown Heights, NY have traded for $54.5 million. Holladay Corp. sold the two-asset portfolio to a joint venture between Blue Vista Capital Management and Meridian Senior Living. They bought the properties free and clear of existing debt. HFF's Ryan Maconachy and Chad Lavender represented the seller.
Chevy Chase House is located at 5420 Connecticut Ave. NW in Washington, DC. It has 131 independent living, assisted living and respite care units.
Country House is located at 2000 Baldwin Rd. in the Westchester County. It has 88 independent living, assisted living and respite care units.
