Elizabeth Demaree

WASHINGTON, DC–Colliers International has recruited Elizabeth Demaree to join as an associate specializing in tenant representation. She will be working with Fern Barrueta and Robert Bryan, with a focus on charter schools and nonprofits.

Her hire is part of Colliers' larger recruiting efforts to broaden the company's platform, says David Parker, regional managing director for Colliers International in Washington, DC, who was hired in February.

Demaree joins Colliers from Demaree & Assoc., which specializes in urban retail. Prior to that she was executive director of Upcounty Community Resources, a nonprofit she started to serve adults with developmental disabilities.

Colliers has made a number of hires lately and more announcements will be coming, according to industry talk.

Kristina Leighty recently rejoined Colliers to lead its Project Management group of the Corporate Solutions, Government Solutions and Brokerage teams in the Greater Washington, DC region.

Nicholas Hunter also just joined Colliers' Washington, DC, office as an Assistant Vice President specializing in tenant and landlord representation.
