Somerset Corporate Center, Bridgewater, NJ

BRIDGEWATER, NJ—SJP Properties says iconectiv—a data-infrastructure and messaging solutions company—has signed a new, 115,000-square-foot office lease to relocate to Somerset Corporate Center I, a class A office building situated within SJP's master-planned Somerset Corporate Center business complex in Bridgewater, NJ.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Ericsson, iconectiv is relocating from a building in Piscataway, NJ. Jones Lang LaSalle senior vice president Craig Eisenhardt, managing director Scott Lesh and associate Dan Spero represented iconectiv in the transaction, while SJP Properties was represented in-house by senior vice president Peter Bronsnick.

“Companies across the technology and life sciences sectors increasingly appreciate the benefits of being situated in a high-performance building in order to attract and retain top talent,” stated Steven J. Pozycki, founder and CEO of SJP Properties. “This trend has resulted in sustained momentum for us at Somerset Corporate Center, which provides the unique infrastructure necessary to meet the needs of a technology firm such as iconectiv.”

Located within one of the country's strongest labor pools, Somerset Corporate Center includes five existing class A buildings totaling 1.5 million square feet, situated around a 15-acre landscaped central park. SJP Properties is also planning a free-standing, full-service fitness facility, as well as a 130-room full-service hotel and restaurant within the center.

In addition to iconectiv, a number of leading-edge global companies call Somerset Corporate Center home, including Linde Americas, Qualcomm, Mazda, Kering Eyewear, Allergan, Cognizant Technologies, Aon Hewitt and Merrill Lynch.

One of SJP's signature developments, Somerset Corporate Center is close to both Newark International Airport and New York City, and is directly across from the nearly one million-square-foot Bridgewater Commons Mall – the second largest mall in New Jersey. The property's unique configuration affords access in all directions via Routes 202/206 and 22, as well as Interstates 287 and 78. Additionally, the center offers access to public transportation, including NJ TRANSIT service via a shuttle to the Somerville train station just four miles from the property, and features a state-of-the-art conference facility, as well as fitness centers and cafes in each of its buildings.
