GARDEN CITY, NY—Treeline has renewed nearly 100,000 square feet of long-term law firm leases in its Garden City Plaza portfolio and Franklin Avenue Plaza complex. The Class A, Garden City Plaza portfolio includes 100, 200, 300 and 400 Garden City Plaza.
Berkman, Henoch, Petersen & Peddy has signed a long-term renewal for more than 33,000 square feet at Treeline's 100 Garden City Plaza. Treeline EVP Kraig Silver represented both the tenant and the owner for the deal.
Moritt, Hock & Hamroff also has also renewed and expanded its long-term lease, for 32,000 square feet, at 400 Garden City Plaza. Silver represented the owner in the transaction while the tenant was represented by CBRE's Robert Seidenberg.
Also at 400 Garden City Plaza, Scully, Scott, Murphy, & Presser has signed a long-term renewal for nearly 22,000 square feet. CBRE's Vincent LaManna and Richard Freel represented the tenant, while Treeline's Silver represented the owners.
The property is situated next to the newly renovated Roosevelt Field Mall, providing tenants a source of food, high-end retail and upscale amenities. With direct access to Meadowbrook Parkway, the site is within close proximity to train stations, airports and only 30 minutes from New York City.
In the fourth transaction, Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan secured a renewal and expansion of its long-term lease at 1205 Franklin Ave. Plaza to nearly 11,500 square feet.
Robert Rosenbluth and Gerry Krush of Real Estate Strategies, and Howard Greenberg of Howard Properties represented the tenant in the expansion, with Silver again representing Treeline.
Franklin Avenue Plaza is a four-building office complex said to feature creative space. Close to both Meadowbrook and Southern State Parkways, tenants have immediate access to all major roads, restaurants, retail and hospitality venues. The property is 30 minutes from Manhattan and the Mineola train stop is within walking distance.
“These properties are among the jewels of Treeline's long-term New York area assets and they have enjoyed a history of high occupancy by a diverse tenant base of some of the area's leading companies,” says Silver. “They are particularly attractive law firms due to their proximity to county courts, high visibility and easy access to transportation. We are excited about the future for these Class A properties as we continue to invest in the future of Long Island.”
