SOUTH FLORIDA—KLX Aerospace Solutions signed a 500,000-square-foot, build-to-suit lease for its new global headquarters and distribution hub. According to GlobeSt.com sister publication, ALM's Daily Business Review, it is the second largest real estate transaction inked in South Florida this year.

The Doral-based company, which supplies aerospace fasteners and consumables worldwide, will add 100 jobs to its existing 600 as it expands from its existing facility to the newly built digs in Medley, KLX recently revealed Wednesday.

The company's new building will be built by Flagler Global Logistics, part of Florida East Coast Industries, at the intersection of Northwest 107th Street and 97th Avenue. The property southeast of Florida's Turnpike Extension and Beacon Station Boulevard is in a new business park.
