WASHINGTON, DC–Bruce Pascal will be joining the local Cushman & Wakefield brokerage team in February as executive managing director.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Pascal was senior vice president at Vornado Realty Trust/Charles E. Smith for the last three-and-a-half years, responsible for leasing the REIT's office portfolio in Washington DC. Prior to that he was an EVP at CBRE for 25 years.
Pascal's hire follows a handful of other key positions that C&W has filled in recent months. In September, it brought on board Peter Carroccio as executive managing director for the Washington DC area. A 28-year industry veteran Carroccio was most recently with CBRE, which he joined which he joined in 2012 to head the company's Maryland office. Prior to CBRE, Carroccio was Regional Managing Director of the Washington DC Region for GVA Advantis.
In February, Brian Dawson was promoted to senior managing director. Dawson joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2007 as co-manager of Capital Markets Group climbing up the corporate ladder in the following years. C&W lost Dawson, though, in the summer when he jumped to JLL.
And in 2015, Roberta Liss joined the then-DTZ as president of the US East Region. Liss joined the company from BECO Management, where she was executive vice president of Leasing and Marketing, but she also includes CBRE on her CV. There, Liss was executive vice president, leading the tenant and landlord brokerage and strategic planning efforts.
Vornado's Spin-off Triggers Executive Musical Chairs
Of course, another trend highlighted by Pascal's hire is the spin-off of Vornado's local real estate portfolio. There are multiple changes to the executive line up underway as a result – but that is another story. Or two or three.
