While at that firm, he originated, structured and underwrote fixed- and floating-rate debt bridge loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and B-notes at the commercial mortgage REIT on a national basis. He led the full investment process, including deal sourcing, credit analysis, structuring, underwriting, negotiation, investment committee presentations, and legal documentation.
Prior to Annaly, Conti originated and structured entity level investments in real estate operating companies, joint venture equity and mezzanine debt as a VP in Prudential Real Estate Investors' Merchant Banking Group.
