Tishman Speyer’s rendering of 2050 M St.
WASHINGTON, DC–As it turns out, the rumor mill was accurate: Tishman Speyer has signed on Paul Hastings for the 11-story, 364,000-square foot trophy office building it is building at 2050 M St., NW. The law firm is taking 97,000-square feet, including the top three floors, in a 16-year lease.
The plans for the project, designed by architect Joshua Prince-Ramus of REX, were revealed last year. They feature a unique floor-to-ceiling curved glass curtain wall with no vertical mullions. The effect, as viewed from the outside, is similar to a kaleidoscope.
