BOISE, ID—Commercial real estate finance veteran Tom MacManus has joined A10 Capital in the newly created role of president, strategic accounts. He'll be responsible for developing key relationships on behalf of the middle-market loan provider.

“Tom brings executive leadership and over 35 years of commercial real estate finance experience,” says A10 CEO Jerry Dunn. “He will deepen our relationships with key commercial real estate firms, an initiative that will further strengthen A10's momentum. MacManus served as president and COO of ARA Finance, where he was responsible for developing the firm's national multifamily lending platform. Prior to that, he was also chairman and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick Goldman, the New York real estate-based investment banking group.

Before his time with Cushman & Wakefield, MacManus held various senior leadership positions during a nine-year career with GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp. From 2003-2006, he served as president of GMACCM and CEO of its North American operations. There, he managed mortgage banking and seven other lending platforms comprising a $10-billion balance sheet and $22 billion in annual originations.
