NEW YORK CITY—CBRE VP Sean Moran has joined Cushman & Wakefield as director of the retail brokerage services group here.

Moran has more than a decade of commercial real estate experience, specializing in tenant and landlord representation. Since becoming a broker in 2008, he has been associated with more than 125 transactions totaling more than 850,000 square feet and an aggregate value of more than $2.4 billion. In 2010, he was named CBRE's Manhattan retail services rookie of the year.

At Cushman, he will work alongside Steven Soutendijk, executive managing director, and Alan Schmerzler, vice chairman, as well as the rest of the locally-based retail services group.

“Sean embodies the type of future leader we aim to bring into the fold as we continue to strengthen our global platform,” says John Santora, vice chairman, president, Cushman & Wakefield New York tri-state region. “His track record of being tenacious and going above and beyond for his clients will serve as a launching pad to his success here at the firm. I am excited that Sean will add to an already stellar retail team.”

Adds Moran, “Cushman & Wakefield afforded me the opportunity to join a retail group with some of the most talented individuals in the industry. I'm excited to work closely with Steve and Alan, and look forward to collaborating with the group to win new assignments.”
