NEW YORK CITY—Romer Debbas—a boutique law firm here based specializing in commercial and residential real estate transactions—has brought on attorney Richard Klein as a partner.
He joins the firm after owning his own law practice for sixteen years. Klein has vast experience handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, as well as representing co-op and condominium boards.
In addition, he has unique experience with restaurant leasing and is an experienced litigator handling cases involving real estate, commercial and co-op and condominium board matters.
At Romer Debbas, Klein manages the firm's co-op and condominium board practice serving as counsel to approximately fifty boards. He also is actively engaged in residential and commercial real estate transactions and brings his own roster of clients.
Klein is expected to play a major role in growing the firm's residential and commercial real estate practices, says Romer Debbas founding co-partner Michael Romer.
“Richard comes to the firm with vast experience representing not only co-op and condominium boards, but also handling residential and commercial real estate transactions,” said Romer.
Adds Romer Debbas founding co-partner Pierre Debbas, “He has unique experience when it comes to restaurant leasing and has assisted numerous businesses in this regard.”
Outside of law, Klein continues to remain active in real estate by managing properties, serving on coop boards and being involved in other restaurant and business ventures. For several years, he owned “Sunset Landing” on the Canarsie Pier in Brooklyn.
