BALLSTON, VA–Jamestown is planning an extensive renovation for Stafford Place I and II, two office buildings located at 4201 Wilson Blvd. and 4121 Wilson Blvd., which it acquired in 2015 for $300 million from Dweck Properties. A spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com that the company plans to invest $140 million in the repositioning and rebranding of the properties.

The renovation will get underway in late 2017 after the 776,000-square foot complex's largest tenant, the National Science Foundation, starts its long-planned move to Alexandria.

The buildings, which share a pedestrian paseo and connect to the Ballston Quarter Mall via a pedestrian skyway bridge, will be rebranded Ballston Exchange.

The renovations will include a 12- story atrium at 4201 Wilson Blvd.

Work will also be done to reposition the ground floor retail to fit in with Ballston Quarter's new open air retail experience.

The project will deliver in late 2018.
