Alfonse Amore

NEW YORK CITY—JEMB Realty Corp. has appointed Alfonse F. Amore as director of operations.

His previous role at Trinity involved rebranding the firm to evolve within the industry. He initiated a multi-faceted program involving getting an upscale tenant base, led green initiatives, reduced operating costs and a comprehensive reduction of the portfolio's carbon footprint and system-wide engineering upgrades.

At JEMB, Amore will lead the office and retail assets and serve as the lead to the firm's sister company based in Montreal on standardizing policies, procedures and financial reporting between both firms. As director of operations, Amore's responsibilities include sharing best practices, overall standards and performance management measures.

He will oversee 1.5 million square feet of JEMB's office and retail assets, leading all aspects of property operations, construction and financial reporting and also will be responsible in advising ownership on long-term strategies to reposition real estate assets.

“As we continue to strengthen our presence in NYC's Financial District specifically, Al's personable nature will be a key asset in building and maintaining authentic relationships with our tenants and team members,” says Jacob Jerome, principal of JEMB.

He continues, “As our corporate profile continues to evolve and grow, I can confidently say Al's proven track record of consistent success will be a value to the firm and our key mission, and will lead to positive results for JEMB.”

“After working at a previous real estate firm in the Financial District, for nearly a decade, I was able to establish lasting relationships and knowledge of Lower Manhattan,” states Amore. “When I was presented with the opportunity to work with JEMB and the reputable principals, I knew I had to engage. I want to help plan the future for the firm's next generation as I hold the Bailey/Jerome's in the highest regard.”
