WASHINGTON, DC–Skanska's local real estate development unit has promoted one of its team members, relocated another executive from Sweden to join the DC office and recruited a new hire from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Markus Dangre

Brad Mason has been promoted to director of Real Estate Development. Markus Dangre, who has joined the DC team from Stockholm, Sweden after nine years as a project manager for Skanska Commercial Development in the Nordic region, is also a director of Real Estate Development in the local office. Jennifer Ralph Tatum joins as a director of Leasing from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Brad Mason

Mason, who joined Skanska as a senior manager of development in 2014, is now leading the development at Skanska's 2112 Pennsylvania Ave., an 11-story, 250,000-square-foot office project. Dangre will focus on new land pursuits, and Skanska's future Tyber Place developments at 44 M and 88 M streets in the District.

Other Skanska projects under development include 99 M St., an 11-story, 234,000-square-foot office building under construction in the District's Capitol Riverfront neighborhood and RESA at Tyber Place. This is a 12-story, 326-unit luxury apartment building with 7,000 square feet of ground-floor restaurant and retail space, located at 22 M St., NE, between North Capitol and First streets.
