NEW YORK CITY—CBRE Group has named Mary Ann Tighe—CEO of the tri-state region here—as the top producer across the company for 2016. She arranged 122 transactions last year that covered 4.6 million square feet and were valued at $3.1 billion.
Highlights of the year were Tighe's representation of the ownership of 55 Water St., Retirement Systems of Alabama, in NYC's largest leasing deal since 2014; McGraw Hill Financial's 900,027-square-foot renewal at 55 Water St.; L&L Holding Co. in the 200,000-square-foot anchor lease to Citadel at 425 Park Ave., and Coach in its 693,938-square-foot leaseback at 10 Hudson Yards.
Tighe is no stranger to the award: she was CBRE's top producer in 2008, 2011 and 2014. Throughout Tighe's career, she has concluded more than 97.5 million square feet of transactions, and her deals have anchored over 14.4 million square feet of new construction in the New York region..

During the first three months of the year, she represented 21st Century Fox in its 784,000-square-foot headquarters extension and expansion at 1211 Ave. of the Americas, and News Corp. in a new 440,000-square-foot headquarters lease at 1211 Ave. of the Americas. Tighe also represented 4 World Trade Center in its recent 378,000-square-foot lease with Spotify.
An eight-time winner of the Real Estate Board of New York's Deal of the Year Award for ingenious brokerage, Tighe served as chairman of the Real Estate Board of New York for a three-year term starting in January 2010. She was the first woman to hold this position in REBNY's then 114-year history, and the first broker to hold the position in 30 years.
