NEW YORK CITY—SL Green Realty Corp. has signed a lease renewal and expansion covering 54,037 square feet with ABN AMRO Holdings USA at 100 Park Ave.
The transaction includes a term extension of ABN's existing 43,148 square feet—along with 10,889 square feet of expansion space—for a 10-year lease term. ABM AMRO is a Dutch bank that offers products and services to retail, private and corporate clients.
Christopher Kraus of JLL represented ABN AMRO, while a Cushman & Wakefield team comprised of Tara Stacom, Barry Zeller, Justin Royce and Connor Daugstrup acted on behalf of the landlord.
“This is the third time that ABN AMRO has expanded at 100 Park Ave. since moving into the building in 2009,” says Steven Durels, EVP, director of leasing and real property for SL Green. “We are delighted to accommodate the bank's growth and extend a valued relationship with such a prestigious tenant.”
Situated one block south of Grand Central Terminal and fully redeveloped in 2008, 100 Park is LEED Gold certified and reportedly was the first building of its type in New York to feature green roofs.
The building is a past recipient of the BOMA award for International Building of the Year and plays host to a wide variety of tenants including Wells Fargo, Aetna, WPP Group USA and BDO Seidman.
