WOODBRIDGE, VA–Local movie fans will be in for a treat. JBG Cos. has signed on Alamo Drafthouse Cinema as a tenant at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center, the 482,631-square-foot mall JBG acquired in December 2015 for approximately $225 million.

The Austin-based chain of dine-in movie theaters will be opening a new eight-screen theater at Stonebridge in late summer/early fall 2018 with over 865 theater seats.

A vacant storefront will be torn down to make room for the new movie theater. JBG plans to add a Town Square, which will include a green space in front the theater.

This will be the second Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Northern Virginia.
