Residences at CityLine

RICHARDSON, TX—There is more development afoot at CityLine. The Residences at CityLine are now under construction at the corner of Foxboro and CityLine Drives. The 32 homes are the only single-family dwellings available at the development, according to CityLine and Centre Living Homes.

CityLine also includes a total of 1,900 apartment and townhome units, including Anthem CityLine, Lot Apartments and The Standard at CityLine. CityLine Park Apartments, the Lyla Apartments and the Riley Apartments are currently also under construction.

“We expect to have a very diverse crowd at the Residences at CityLine,” Trevor Brickman, president of Centre Living Homes, tells GlobeSt.com. “Families will be able to take advantage of a stellar school district, detached homes and larger floorplan options. Our townhomes are also great for younger couples and single executive types who want a smaller home that doesn't require much maintenance so that they can travel easily, but still have extra room for when friends and family visit. We've also seen that many empty nesters previously living in the suburbs have started buying our homes in the downtown Dallas area and Richardson would be an even closer move.”

The Residences at CityLine will feature open floor plans with no shared walls between neighbors. Designed around solar orientation, the homes will include semi-private side courtyards and south- or west-facing walls to provide natural lighting and higher energy efficiencies. All floor plans have a rooftop deck option, many of which will overlook the 17-acre Fox Creek Park currently under construction.

“What makes CityLine such an ideal place for our homes is that it checks all the boxes on our buyer's wish list,” said Brickman. “You have complete walkability within the project, huge amounts of green space, and a safe and welcoming community, all located within a top-notch school district. It's nearly impossible to get all of that anywhere in Dallas for a reasonable price and we don't expect these units to stay on the market for long.”

The first model home will be open this fall. Available floor plans include a 2,676-square-foot three bedroom/3.5 bath starting at $549,900 and a 3,227-square-foot four bedroom/4.5 bath starting at $655,000. Four interior design packages are available.

CityLine is a 186-acre transit-oriented development featuring a mix of office buildings, apartments, restaurants, entertainment options and open space, with access to two major highways and the DART light rail system. CityLine's current development phase includes more than 25 dining options with Whole Foods Market as a retail anchor, an Aloft hotel, seven office buildings home to State Farm and Raytheon, and a wellness office building anchored by Texas Health Resources and Children's Medical Center.

At full build out, CityLine will have 5 million square feet of office space, 3,925 multifamily residential units, more than 50 dining and service retail options, two hotels and two parks with access to regional hike and bike trails. Approximately 30,000 people are expected to live and work at CityLine.

“These homes will have access to all of the great amenities that make CityLine a live-work-play destination–direct access to several corporate campuses, the DART station, major highways, numerous restaurants, retailers and parks,” said Walt Mountford, executive vice president, KDC.
