INDIANAPOLIS—New owners have begun pouring millions of dollars into downtown properties here, as more and more companies decide they need a downtown office to attract young talent. Fairbridge Properties, for example, has decided to renovate its Landmark Center and reposition the property within the downtown marketplace. The 100,000 square feet occupied by Angie's List will become available for lease in the spring of 2018. In addition, the Centene space totaling approximately 60,000 square feet will become available at the end of July 2017.
“Landmark will undergo a major transformation that we are very excited about,” says Dr. Dmitry Gordeev, Fairbridge Properties' founder and managing partner. Among other amenities and upgrades, “the new lobby will be sleek and contemporary in its design, featuring natural stone and dark wood finishes. The adjacent modern lounge will provide tenants at the building an additional place to have coffee or meet with a colleague in a more informal and inviting setting.”
Located at 1099 N. Meridian St., Landmark Center provides tenants with a location between the entrance and exit ramps of I-65 and at the intersection of two major streets, N. Meridian and N. Pennsylvania.
Landmark also offers tenants a fitness center, conference facility, indoor bike storage, full-service deli, sundry shop and free parking. Gordeev says there are also corporate identity possibilities via exterior signage on the building.
“We see this property as a great hybrid for corporate users looking to gain the conveniences of the suburbs with free parking and easy access, while still being within the excitement downtown Indianapolis is known for,” says executive vice president Rich Forslund of Colliers International.
