Peter Carroccio

WASHINGTON, DC–Cushman & Wakefield have recruited two brokers to join its Washington, DC tenant representation team: They are Earl Segal and Tina Weaver.

“They will play a vital role in the growth strategy of our tenant representation business practice throughout the entire DC Metro Region,” Peter Carroccio, executive managing director of the DC Metro Region, said in a prepared statement.

Earl Segal

Segal has approximately 40 years of experience in real estate leasing, purchase, sale, sale leasebacks and financing transactions, including conventional financing as well as tax exempt bond financing. He was an SVP at The Ezra Co. prior to joining C&W. Before that, he was a partner in the international law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.

A 25-year-industry veteran, Weaver has focused on real estate leasing transactions. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, she was a SVP at CBRE and The Ezra Co., where she managed relocations, renewals, subleases, assignments, terminations and sales.

At Cushman & Wakefield, Weaver and Segal will focus on the real estate needs of law firms, trade associations and not-for-profits among other tenant types.

A Growing Talent Bench

C&W has been steadily building up its talent bench over the last year or so. At the start of the year, Bruce Pascal joined as executive managing director from Vornado Realty Trust, where he was senior vice president. Prior to that he was an EVP at CBRE for 25 years.

In September of last year C&W brought on board Carroccio. A 28-year industry veteran Carroccio was most recently with CBRE, which he joined which he joined in 2012 to head the company's Maryland office.

And of course in 2015, Roberta Liss joined the then-DTZ as president of the US East Region.
