NEW YORK CITY—CBRE Group has brought Haig Kilicyan on to its capital markets' debt & structured finance team as VP. Based here, in Midtown, he will enhance the firm's presence in the multifamily loan space here.
Kilicyan joins CBRE from Capital One Multifamily Finance where he most recently served as SVP here. During his tenure at Capital One, he oversaw the structuring, underwriting, and closing of more than $5 billion of agency loans and screening of more than $15 billion. Prior to Capital One, he was an underwriter at Freddie Mac Multifamily.
He has underwritten, originated and funded approximately $7 billion in multifamily loans throughout the course of his career. He will report to Michael Riccio, senior managing director and co-head of production, debt & structured finance, CBRE Capital Markets.
“The addition of Haig reinforces our commitment to filling gaps in areas where we have room for growth. His experience on the agency side of the multifamily loan business will be a tremendous complement to our market-leading debt practice in New York City,” says Riccio. “We look forward to the significant contributions he will provide to our debt team in New York City and our national platform.”
Kilicyan received his bachelor's degree from Hofstra University and his master's degree from New York University.
