NEW YORK CITYRico T. Murtha has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a director. He previously served for 11-years as a partner at Capstone Realty Advisors, a commercial brokerage company based here that provides tenant representation services to small and mid-size firms.

Murtha's tenant representation work has included office relocations, lease renewals, expansions, subleasing, lease auditing, and general advisory services. His client base has represented such sectors as public- and private-sector users, technology companies, medical practices, non-profit organizations, advertisers, and architecture firms.

At Cushman he will work with senior directors Patrick Dugan and Joseph Cirone and will focus on tenant representation as a member of the firm's leasing team serving the Brooklyn market.

“Rico Murtha brings extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate inventory throughout New York City,” says Betty Castro, C&W's managing principal of Brooklyn and Queens. “He knows how to identify those particular buildings and owners that will make the best match for a client.”
