NEW YORK CITY—Disruptive technology has come to the valuation sector as locally based FUEL has launched a cloud-based platform. The outgrowth of a three-year development initiative, the Fuel Valuations platform is available at www.fuelcre.com and already is being used to perform valuations for owners whose commercial property portfolios total more than $500 billion.

“For decades, asset valuation has been relegated to an off-line process that could only be determined periodically, by highly trained analysts, using antiquated software,” says Glenn Murray, FUEL's founder and CEO. “Those days are over. FUEL has been designed from the ground up to transform valuation into a cloud-enabled platform that is intuitive, fast, accurate, collaborative, open and affordable. It automates the entire valuation process from end-to-end while delivering real-time transparency to every participant in the process via any web or mobile device.”
Murray leads a team of industry executives that includes co-founders Eric Johnston, Christopher Perry III and Raphael Morozov. The COO and managing director, respectively, of FUEL, Johnston and Perry previously held key positions with LeaseLinks, the new company's predecessor.

Additionally, Johnston spent seven years as VP, investments with Callahan Capital Properties, while Perry's CRE background includes key roles with IndCor Properties and ING Investment Management. Now chief technology officer with FUEL, Morozov cofounded business/lifestyle app WageSpot in 2015. Rounding out the management team are product manager Samantha Buttigieg and director of business development Benny Harrop.

“Leading the industry into the next generation of valuation, forecasting and data is an incredible responsibility,” says Murray. “We intend to earn the market's trust through customer-centricity, innovation, value and a commitment to open standards.”
