LAS VEGAS—Physical retail and e-commerce are not a matter of either/or. That’s the opinion of Joe Dykstra and Randy Banchik, co-CEOs of Westwood Financial. Brick-and-mortar and e-commerce are not a choice, but both are tools serving a mutual benefit to consumers having their goods and services the way they want them, they say.

While e-commerce may have been “the tipping point” in the demise of certain stores, the CEOs state, the writing was already on the wall for them. Their failure underscores the need for those who remain to embrace and adapt.
