NEW YORK CITY—CVS Pharmacy has renewed its 10,000-square-foot lease at the Wellington Tower luxury condominium property on the Upper East Side.
The pharmacy chain has signed a 10-year renewal with RFR, which owns and operates the approximately 32,000-square-foot retail portion at the base of the 18-story residential condominium building located at 350 E. 82nd St.
The retail component of the art-deco-styled Yorkville property is 100% leased, according to RFR.
“We are delighted to extend our lease agreement with CVS Pharmacy at The Wellington Tower,” says Jordan S. Claffey, head of RFR Retail, who represented the ownership. “CVS has an incredibly robust presence throughout New York City and the country and we welcome their ongoing commitment at the retail portion of 350 East 82nd Street, at the corner of First Avenue.
The property was originally developed in 1999 by RFR/Davis and operated as a rental building. In 2005 Wellington Tower was converted to a condominium building, according to Condopedia.com.
