FRISCO, TX—Craig Hall purchased the land that would become HALL Park in the late 1980s, when Frisco had a population of approximately 6,000 people; whereas today, the population has soared to more than 160,000 people, GlobeSt.com learns. Construction began on the first HALL Park building in the late 1990s and now, 8,000 employees work in 16 completed buildings within the park.
HALL Park's newest building, at 12 stories tall with 300,000 square feet of class-A office space, makes it the tallest office building in Frisco. 3201 Dallas Parkway's visible location overlooking the Dallas North Tollway will provide signage opportunity for the building's key tenant. The building is on schedule to be completed in December 2017.
“Craig Hall began construction on the first building at HALL Park in 1997, when there wasn't even a paved road into the property,” said Travis Jeakins, HALL Group's vice president of development. “We are topping out our 17th building, which will bring the park to 2.5 million square feet of office space and stand as the tallest office building in Frisco.”
The new building will contain flexible 25,000-square-foot floorplates and is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification. The two-story lobby will include art and sculpture from the Hall Collection, and all floors will feature 10-foot ceilings. Outdoor spaces will incorporate landscaping, a water feature and an adjacent event lawn. HALL Group, Austin Commercial and HKS are the development team.
HALL Park is a 162-acre office development, consisting of 2.5 million square feet of office space in the 16 completed buildings. The park is surrounded by hundreds of works of art, winding walking trails, abundant green space and onsite amenities, including a fitness center, wine lounge, Wi-Fi-equipped outdoor lakeside meeting areas, restaurant and retail plaza, and conferencing facilities.
The park features a diverse array of companies across many industries. And, its central Frisco location provides customers with dining, entertainment and shopping destinations, as well as convenient access to major thoroughfares and DFW International Airport. There is no question that HALL Park has greatly benefited from its proximity to the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, FC Dallas, the Stonebriar Center and Dr. Pepper ballpark. It is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and is rapidly becoming the place to be in North Dallas.
Founded in 1968, Dallas-based HALL Group is owned by founder and chairman Craig Hall and family. The diversified company is made up of several subsidiary brands in addition to HALL Park, including HALL Arts, the three-phase five-acre mixed-use development in the Dallas Arts District; HALL Structured Finance, private lender to the real estate industry; HALL Collection, a collection of local and international art pieces located throughout HALL Group's properties; HALL Wines, located in St. Helena and Rutherford, producing Bordeaux varietals; WALT Wines, Napa Valley producer of handcrafted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals; and SENZA hotel, a Napa Valley boutique hotel and luxury resort.
