NEW YORK CITY—Cushman & Wakefield's Global Occupier Services business has hired industry veteran Greg Swanberg to lead the business' Technical Solutions practice as senior managing director. The move builds on the momentum of recent partnerships and acquisitions by the firm.
“Through our technology strategy, we are committed to creating partnerships with the best and brightest with an eye toward gaining access to new platforms and client solutions,” says Adam Stanley, global chief information officer and chief digital officer at Cushman & Wakefield. “We aim to be at the forefront of the latest, most exclusive, and forward-thinking real estate technologies.”
Swanberg brings Cushman & Wakefield more than 30 years' senior management and executive experience, having managed all aspects of designing, operating, and maintenance of highly regulated critical environments. Most recently he was CEO of BioStorage Technologies, a leader in critical biological storage environments serving 19 of the top 20 bio/pharma companies along with government and academic research institutions around the globe.
“Greg's extensive global management experience which, included directly overseeing the technical delivery of outsourced services for critical functions in data centers, nuclear energy facilities, pharmaceutical and manufacturing facilities, public and private research centers, hospitals and clinics will help provide industry leading solutions to our clients for their most critical physical infrastructure,” says Colette Temmink, Cushman & Wakefield's executive managing director of the integrated facilities management and project & development services platforms for Global Occupier Services.
In line with Swanberg joining Cushman & Wakefield, the firm has partnered with Lucid's BuildingOS building intelligence software to further enhance Cushman & Wakefield's platform for delivering the next generation of energy intelligence. The firm's Mobile Engineering & Maintenance Services, Energy Management and Critical Solutions platforms have been bundled into a single organization. Additionally, last week, Cushman & Wakefield announced an exclusive global partnership with real estate technology hub MetaProp NYC.
