Gilbert Leaves Newmark to Join ABS Partners

Gilbert, who has 37 years commercial brokerage experience, was a senior managing director at Newmark Knight Frank prior to joining ABS Partners Real Estate.

NEW YORK CITY—Retail brokerage veteran Howard Gilbert has joined ABS Partners Real Estate as an executive managing director.

One of Gilbert’s notable deals was when he and his team was responsible for Forever 21′s entry into the New York market, first securing its flagship store in Times Square and then handling other additional locations in Manhattan for the retailer. Other notable Gilbert clients include: Stawski Partners, MetLife, Vornado Realty Trust and Tishman Speyer Properties.
