NEW YORK CITY—Situs RERC is bolstering its platform with multiple new hires, most recently naming Jamie Molloy as managing director. Molloy will be tasked with further developing Situs RERC's suite of solutions to address the industry's evolving needs, and will be based in New York.
“Situs RERC has greatly expanded its global footprint over the past three years and Jamie Molloy's experience will be extremely valuable in our continuous effort to remain a premier service provider to a global audience,” says Ken Riggs, president of Situs RERC. Molloy joins the firm from Deutsche Bank, where he was global head of real estate valuation for 10 years.
In that capacity, Molloy directed a team of valuation professionals in New York, London, Frankfurt, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Before that, he spent five years as Deutsche's international head of real estate valuation, overseeing all non-US valuation activities and offices.
The team he led as international director practiced in over 30 countries and developed market-specific valuation due diligence platforms in Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. The group supported the bank's CMBS large loan and conduit origination platforms, the special situations group, covered bond origination, multiple warehouse lending groups, LIHTC and tax-advantaged origination platforms, real estate investment banking, structured finance and asset wealth management.
Earlier this week, Situs RERC hired Andrew Sabatini as co-head of the valuation management group; Sabatini will lead the group in tandem with Brian Velky. Along with Sabatini, the firm has hired Tom Johnson as managing director and Frank Yanofsky as director in the group.
“”The expansion of the valuation management group is a testament to the great work done by Brian Velky and his team over the years, building deep client relationships and bringing in substantial new business,” Riggs says. Sabatini, Johnson and Yanofsky all come from National Valuation Consultants' real estate advisory services group, which Sabatini led during his time with NVC.
