NEW YORK CITY—Global software company Nuxeo will be relocating its U.S. headquarters to 10 Jay St. in Brooklyn.
Nuxeo, which established its U.S. operations in New York City in 2012, is leasing 12,500 square feet of space at 10 Jay St. The lease deal at the 230,000-square-foot building was announced by brokerage firm Newmark Knight-Frank.
NKF's Whitten Morris and Joseph Sipala represented Nuxeo in the transaction. Howard Hersch of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the building ownership, which consists of Glacier Global and Triangle Assets.
Nuxeo, which provides a content management platform for business applications for companies across a wide range of vertical markets, currently operates out of 181 North 11th St. in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. The firm, founded in 2002, also has offices in London, Paris, Lisbon, Washington DC and Los Angeles. The firm reportedly will relocate to 10 Jay St. in January of this year.
After analyzing a number of locations in Greenpoint, Williamsburg and Bushwick, Nuxeo decided on Dumbo due to its accessibility, “inspiring work environment and excellent views”, NKF officials state in an announcement.
“Nuxeo is very excited about the opportunities the new space will provide to grow its business in the U.S. and throughout the world,” says Nuxeo CEO Eric Barroca. NKF's Sipala adds, “Nuxeo's technology-oriented business is a perfect fit for the dynamic Dumbo neighborhood, and we are proud to work with this compelling company as it continues to represent innovation in Brooklyn.”
