Sami Mnaymneh and Tony Tamer, H.I.G.'s co-CEOs, note that Schwartz brings to the company “an enviable record of success, in commercial real estate and has built deep relationships based on flexibility, responsiveness, and a long-term orientation. We are confident that he will make a significant contribution to growing H.I.G.'s distressed investing activities.”
Schwartz was a partner at Torchlight for over six years, serving on its board of directors as well as its investment and operating committees. Before Torchlight, Schwartz spent almost 20 years at JP Morgan, where he ran the CMBS and commercial real estate banking groups.
