NEW YORK CITY–On Wednesday at 9:00 pm, buildings and venues in New York City lit up in “Amazon Orange,” as the New York City Economic Development Corp. described it, rallying behind the City's formal bid for Amazon's second headquarters. The proposal was submitted earlier that day. Buildings such as One World Trade, the Empire State Building and 4 Times Square, as well as billboards and bridges, gave their glowing support.
