Mustang Station

FARMERS BRANCH, TX—With an eye toward the younger professional who not only wants rental housing near transit options, but with the latest amenities all at a lower cost, phase II is underway on Mustang Station Apartments. The project is being developed by Western Securities, designed by BGO Architects and built by KWA Construction.

Mustang Station sits at 2500 Bill Moses Pkwy., next to the area's DART light rail station, providing residents with access to public transportation throughout Dallas. Construction of the four-story 186-unit apartment complex is expected to be complete by the end of 2018.

“KWA will execute the design team's vision of building practical, transit-oriented housing,” said Brian Webster, president of KWA Construction. “The apartment complex will accommodate the younger generation of business professionals seeking cost-friendly living without compromising valued modern day amenities.”

The 177,106-square-foot project will consist of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 588 to 1,400 square feet. Phase II will include the construction of a five-level garage that will have 263 parking spaces.

Mustang Station will offer amenities including a swimming pool with a tanning ledge, barbecue pit, coffee station, two interior courtyards and an outdoor arbor for socializing. Additional amenities include a fitness facility, pet grooming station, clubhouse with billiards, business center with copy and fax services, disability access, garage, gated privacy, covered and guest parking, cable availability and Internet access, on-site and on-call maintenance, access to freeways, and proximity to retail and public parks.

“We anticipate this apartment complex to fill the niche for affordable, comfortable living that is also easily accessible to jobs in downtown Dallas and throughout other parts of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex,” Webster tells GlobeSt.com.

KWA Construction is a general contractor specializing in Texas multifamily developments.
