The Hayworth

HOUSTON—The leasing center for the new luxury multifamily property, The Hayworth is open and accepting resident applications. The development located at 1414 Wood Hollow Dr. in the coveted Tanglewood neighborhood has more spacious floor plans and other amenities than the typical community.

Transwestern Development Co. developed the project, which is being managed by Greystar Management Services and designed by 5G Studio architects.

“The build of The Hayworth was not formulaic. We researched the surrounding neighborhood and designed the building to fit in with the Tanglewood area,” said Mark Culwell, managing director at Transwestern Development Co.

Centrally located with easy access to areas such as Uptown, downtown and the Energy Corridor, The Hayworth will be appealing to numerous residents such as professionals, families and empty nesters.

“Apartment and single-family housing prices keep rising, but people still want to live in premium neighborhoods with plenty of community amenities,” Culwell tells GlobeSt.com. “The Hayworth allows residents to live in a multi-million-dollar neighborhood while taking advantage of those community benefits, without the hassles of homeownership.”

With an esplanade connecting the building to several retail options such as Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's and numerous upscale restaurants and shops, The Hayworth provides walkability surrounded by oak trees. Community amenities include a 2-acre private park, concierge services, yoga lawn, pool with entertaining areas, and dog spa along with a secured dog park.

Beyond the neighborhood, the building's floorplans include open layouts with 10-foot ceilings, quartz countertops, gas cooktops, hardwood floors, and full-sized front-load washers and dryers. The Hayworth's 246 units will range from 934-square-foot one-bedroom apartments to 2,324-square-foot apartments with three bedrooms, three baths and a flex space. Additionally, 10 townhomes will be available in 2018 beginning at 1,986 square feet.
