$500M Legoland Theme Park a Go, State Providing $25M in Incentives

GOSHEN, NY—Merlin Entertainments, the developer of the proposed $500-millon LEGOLAND New York theme park here, announced on Wednesday that it will begin construction on the project in early 2018.

Empire State Development also reported on Wednesday that it was providing an additional $18 million in incentives for the project, bringing the state’s total commitment to more than $25 million for the venture.
