Somerset Corporate Center, Bridgewater, NJ

BRIDGEWATER, NJ—SJP Properties and Life Time are bringing a first-of-its-kind healthy living, aging and entertainment destination to Somerset Corporate Center, Bridgewater, NJ.

Life Time will develop a 130,000-square-foot “athletic resort destination” at the business center, providing Somerset Corporate Center tenants and area residents with a wide range of programs and services for families and individuals of all ages designed to help them meet their fitness goals and health objectives.

The agreement with Life Time comes on the heels of SJP's announcement last month that it had completed a land sale for the development of a 150-room AC Hotels by Marriott and a Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar at the office complex.

“With the sale of this site to Life Time, we're adding another world-class amenity to Somerset Corporate Center,” says Steven J. Pozycki, founder and CEO of SJP Properties. “The ability to provide employees with a superior work-life balance is paramount to many of our tenants, and the healthy and active lifestyle programming offered by Life Time is unparalleled.”

Life Time will offer an outdoor tennis complex, an outdoor and indoor aquatic center with zero-depth entry pools, lap pools, and waterslides, and an indoor basketball court. The center will include a broad array of highly personalized programs and services to help members achieve health objectives, athletic aspirations and fitness goals. There will also be dance, art, music and tumbling studios available for children, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor cafes, and a full-service salon and spa.

Somerset Corporate Center is fully leased to companies including Linde Americas, iconectiv, Mazda, Qualcomm, Kering Eyewear, Allergan, Cognizant Technologies, Aon Hewitt and Merrill Lynch.

The center is closed to Newark International Airport and New York City, and is directly across from the nearly one million-square-foot Bridgewater Commons Mall – the second largest mall in New Jersey. Somerset Corporate Center's unique configuration affords access in all directions via Routes 202/206 and 22, and Interstates 287 and 78. It provides access to public transportation, including NJ TRANSIT service via a shuttle to the Somerville train station just four miles from the property, and features a state-of-the-art conference facility, and fitness centers and cafes in each of its buildings.
