Grand Prairie Corners

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—Dallas-based Venture Commercial and Dave Carter's NDC Holdings are delivering the first retail at the coveted intersection of north-south route SH-161 and Mayfield Road, adjacent to IKEA. This is part of a retail and entertainment corridor developing in this city located halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth.

Four separate leases have secured tenants for Grand Prairie Corners, a new retail development at the southeast quadrant of the site. The developer, NDC Holdings, broke ground in November on the project, which is adjacent to the 290,000-square foot IKEA that is scheduled to open in mid-December.

John Zikos and Amy Pjetrovic with Venture represented NDC Holdings in lease negotiations with Mattress Firm, Jason's Deli, Ideal Dental and Artisan Nail Spa. These tenants will occupy a total of 13,600 square feet of retail space in the two buildings.

The 3-acre Grand Prairie Corners site is part of a planned 50-acre mixed-use development at the same intersection that will include residential, hotel and retail space. This future development site is owned by Charlie Anderson's company, TA Land Fund, also a Venture Commercial client, GlobeSt.com learns.

“Venture is also working with TA Land Fund to secure tenants for the mixed-use development south of Grand Prairie Corners, targeting users in categories including hotel, entertainment, restaurants, retail and service providers,” Pjetrovic tells GlobeSt.com.

Mattress Firm, Jason's Deli, Artisan Nail/Spa and Ideal Dental were represented by David Fazio with The Retail Connection, Kevin McIntosh with KMAC Group, Cindy Dunn with CJ Dunn Commercial LLC and Evan Reynolds with Dental Space Advisors, respectively.
