MaryAnne Gilmartin Leaves Forest City to Launch Firm with L&L Founders

Gilmartin and the L&L Holding Company founders create a new development firm, L&L MAG.

NEW YORK CITY—Developer MaryAnne Gilmartin and L&L Holding Company founders David Levinson and Robert Lapidus are forming L&L MAG, a new company focused on ground-up developments in New York City.

Gilmartin will serve as the CEO, managing day-to-day operations. Levinson and Lapidus will share ownership with Gilmartin and assist in managing sourcing, financing and implementation of development prospects. The company plans to pursue opportunities across the commercial, residential, retail, entertainment and cultural sectors.
