LOS ANGELES—First to receive CBRE Group's newly established designation of group president are the firm's Jack Durburg, Danny Queenan and Martin Samworth. CBRE said the new title is intended for senior business line and geographic leaders who are making outstanding contributions today and are among a small group of executives expected to lead the enterprise at the highest levels in the future.
Durburg is currently CEO of the Americas region, CBRE's largest business segment, a role he assumed in June 2016 after serving as global president, advisory & transaction services. Queenan is president of CBRE Global Investors and Trammell Crow Co., the company's development services business, also reports to him. Samworth is CEO of CBRE's EMEA business segment. The scope of their responsibilities and reporting relationships will not immediately change with these promotions, according to CBRE.
“The contributions of Jack, Danny and Martin have significantly advanced our strategy of producing superior client outcomes and helped to create professional growth opportunities for our people around the world,” says Bob Sulentic, president and CEO of CBRE. “They have clearly demonstrated that they are 'enterprise executives' who are able to have a profoundly positive impact not only on the businesses they run, but on our entire company. Their promotions signal our confidence that CBRE is very well positioned long into the future.”
