PLANO, TX—Legacy Central, Plano's largest office redevelopment, just signed new leases for 22,761 square feet. The tenants are Roland Technology Group, an IT support and consulting company for small- and medium-sized Texas businesses, as well as The 20, a business development group for managed service providers in the IT industry.

Both tenants will move into the first phase of Legacy Central in the LC-North Building located at 6600 Chase Oaks at the southwest corner of US 75 and Legacy Drive. NAI Robert Lynn's Kent Smith and Leslie Wood represented the tenants. Nathan Durham with Transwestern represented the landlord, Regent Properties.

“We had been looking for space for months to accommodate our tremendous growth,” said Tim Conkle, CEO of Roland Technology Group and The 20 MSP. “After evaluating neighboring cities and available properties, we found that Legacy Central was the best fit for our companies and brands. Legacy Central's proximity to the highway along with its wide range of amenities meets virtually every one of our needs, allowing us room to grow our staff, conduct training, entertain clients and host events.”

Legacy Central is a redevelopment of a former five-building Texas Instruments campus and offers class-A office space in a multi-tenant environment emphasizing indoor/outdoor workflows, health and wellness, and productivity through collaborative shared spaces. To date, Regent Properties has invested more than $100 million in first phase in the redevelopment of the 85-acre technology-oriented mixed-use campus, and has delivered fully modernized buildings, Wi-Fi-enabled courtyards, a fitness center with a rock-climbing wall, a full-length indoor basketball court, competition-length swimming pool and private fitness studios, a 200-person conference hall with an entertainment center, and a 400-seat food hall with on-demand ordering via mobile app.

The property also features 1 mile of biking and jogging trails, bike-sharing stations, coffee kiosks, rotating food trucks, outdoor meeting and entertainment spaces, fire pits and LC Grove, a 2-acre public park.

“Dynamic companies are looking for modern amenities to support their organization's growth and a creative environment where their employees love to work, so we transformed the TI Campus with that objective in mind,” said Regent Properties director Amy Castellanos. “We want forward-thinking companies like Roland Technology Group/The 20 MSPs on the campus, and we are excited they will kick-off Legacy Central and can call it their new home.”

Insiders close to the redevelopment have said the campus has the feel of those for Fortune 100 global tech companies such as Google, but it is unique to Dallas. Roland and The 20 are the type of companies that would complement this type of environment, and are expected to pique interest from other tech companies locally or looking to relocate to this Dallas suburb, GlobeSt.com learns.

Phase II of the development is slated to be complete in early 2019, with the full campus completed by December 2019.
