WEST ORANGE, NJ—From a tenant's perspective, some of the most appealing office buildings are those bustling with activity. Certainly, 80 Main Street in West Orange is such a place.
The 102,000-square-foot, five-story structure – located in a vibrant business district just blocks from Route 280 – has been home to Sheldon Gross Realty for more than 30 years, and has seen a spate of recent lease renewals. These were National Staffing Associates, with its 2,935-square-foot office, Feldman & Grodeck, the Essex County Democratic Committee, Harvey Grossman, Esq., and Ronald M. Gutwirth, Esq. In total, leases have been renewed on more than 11,000 square feet of office space.
“It's been a remarkably busy few months,” says Sheldon Gross, president and CEO of the company that serves as 80 Main Street's exclusive broker. “When you renew five leases in a single building, all around the same time, you're clearly dealing with a special location. It's a modern facility near everything downtown West Orange offers, and it benefits from the positive energy provided by thriving businesses.”
Sheldon Gross Realty just completed refurbishing its own 3,430-square foot office. Focused on creating a more stylish, modern look, the construction project took several months to complete and features entirely new walls, ceiling, flooring, carpeting, furniture, and the addition of private offices and a kitchen.
