NEW YORK CITY—Littler Mendelson, the world's largest employment and labor law practice representing management, renewed its 34,708 square-foot lease with the Paramount Group at 900 Third Ave. The firm will continue to occupy the entire seventh and eighth floors of the 36-story office building that sits on the corner of Third Avenue and East 54th Street, in Midtown East. Littler employs more than 1,500 attorneys in over 75 offices around the world.

The asking rent was $72 per square foot for the 12-year lease, which begins in the second quarter of 2018. The LEED-certified building was originally constructed in 1983.

Other building tenants include Carl Marks & Co., Zweig-Dimenna Associates and Shiseido Americas Corporation. The Japanese multinational personal care company Shiseido will be vacating its 75,000 square-foot space to move to 390 Madison Ave., in the fall of 2018, as reported in GlobeSt.com in a transaction brokered by CBRE.

CBRE's Anthony Dattoma, Ken Rapp and Kevin Bender represented the tenant, Littler, while Paramount Group was represented in-house by Peter Brindley, Doug Neye and Sean Kirk.
