1675 Broadway

NEW YORK CITY—Stonehenge Management has signed a 10-year,14,000 square-foot lease at 1675 Broadway, a 35-story, 850,000 square-foot office tower in Midtown West. The building is owned, managed and leased by the Rudin family.

Stonehenge, a private real estate company led by Ofer Yardeni, owns 18 buildings with 2,400 apartments in Manhattan. It will move in the fourth quarter of 2018 from 888 7th Ave. occupying part of the 21st floor in its new location. The asking rent is $75 per square foot.

Over the last year at 1675 Broadway, Rudin has signed three full floor leases totaling 81,000 square feet including law firms Ballard Spahr and Roberts & Holland, as well as financial services firm Spielman Koenigsberg & Parker. In 2016, Rudin finalized a 24,000 square-foot lease for fintech firm Bankrate Inc and before that it leased 605,000 square feet to global advertising and media company Publicis Groupe. Rudin is continuing to actively market vacancies in the building located at the corner of Broadway and West 52nd St.

Built in 1989 by Jack and Lewis Rudin, and designed by Fox and Fowle Architects, 1675 Broadway was constructed using the air rights over the adjacent Broadway Theatre.

Newmark Knight Frank's Lance Korman and Brian Waterman represented Stonehenge Management. The owner landlord was represented by Robert Steinman, SVP at Rudin Management Company.

The Rudin family real estate holdings include 16 office buildings with approximately 10 million square feet of space and 18 apartment buildings containing over four million square feet of residences. In addition, Rudin is currently co-developing the Dock 72 office tower with Boston Properties at Brooklyn Navy Yard. Rudin is well know for working with Thomson Reuters in developing their headquarters at 3 Times Square and partnering with Global Holdings, Inc. in developing The Greenwich Lane, a 199-unit luxury condominium in Manhattan's West Village.
