Clear Lake City Homes

HOUSTON—Another outlying area has more residential coming to market. The Reserve at Clear Lake City has opened six new home plans and two new sections at the master-planned community located in the Clear Lake City area of Houston. Upon completion, The Reserve at Clear Lake City will include a total of 790 home sites in two product lines including traditional single-family homes and Villa patio homes which sit on zero-lot lines.

Built by Trendmaker Homes, the master developer and builder, and builder partners CalAtlantic Homes and Village Builders, four of the newest home plans available for purchase include Villa patio homes and single-family homes.

“We have been thrilled with the surge in sales at the Reserve since our newer models started opening last summer,” said Joe Mandola, president of Trendmaker Homes. “As the newest home development in the region in two decades, homebuyers have responded positively. With our builder partners, Village Builders and CalAtlantic Homes, we anticipate more sales as these new home plans and sections become available.”

The Reserve at Clear Lake City spans more than 372 acres of open space. Residents will have access to all the amenities offered throughout the master-planned community, including a pool, splash park, tennis courts, neighborhood parks and playgrounds within walking distance. Retail options include the new Clear Lake City Marketplace, a 260,000-square-foot retail center located near the neighborhood entrance featuring a 100,000-square-foot HEB grocery store, PetSmart, Chase Bank, MOD Pizza, and other retail stores and services.

Situated east of the Gulf Freeway and south of the Sam Houston Parkway/Beltway 8, The Reserve provides access to both the coast and downtown. The proximity to downtown Houston, the Med Center and NASA is desirable by commuters, and residents will have access to the nearby retail and entertainment offerings such as the Baybrook Mall, Kemah Boardwalk, the Johnson Space Center and Bay Oaks Country Club.

“The land in the Clear Lake area was all developed and the land that The Reserve now sits on was not available for purchase,” Karyn Goertz, marketing manager, Trendmaker Homes, tells GlobeSt.com. “As soon as it became available to purchase, Trendmaker Development purchased it and began making plans for The Reserve at Clear Lake City.”

Clear Lake City is a master-planned community located in southeast Harris County within the Bay Area of Greater Houston. It is the second-largest master-planned community in Houston behind Kingwood. The Reserve at Clear Lake City is part of the Clear Creek Independent School District, which has achieved a high ranking among large schools, GlobeSt.com learns.
