McLEAN, VA–London-based Tamares has secured an anchor tenant for its 785,000 square foot corporate campus Valo Park, which it acquired in 2015 in a JV with Finland's pension fund for $270 million. Tech company Appian is taking 200,000-square feet in the complex, which has since been resigned into trophy office space and tenant amenities that include conference facilities, a 20,000 square foot fitness facility, sport courts and a 300-seat auditorium. "When we bought this building 3 years ago we hoped to convert it from a single use facility to a multi-tenant campus that would deliver amenities and resources for modern companies and meet the needs and lifestyle of a modern workforce," says Poju Zabludowicz, chairman of Tamares in a prepared statement. "We are delighted to see that goal realized today."

CBRE's Erik McLaughlin and Jeff Roman brokered the transaction on behalf of Tamares and Dale Powell and Paul Darr of Cushman & Wakefield represented Appian.

Gensler did the multi-million redesign and FLIK Hospitality Group manages Valo Park's food services and tenant amenities.
